Havening Techniques, often referred to as simply “Havening,” is a psychotherapeutic approach and a set of therapeutic techniques developed by Dr. Ronald Ruden and his brother Dr. Steven Ruden. It is designed to help individuals overcome emotional distress, reduce stress, and manage traumatic memories and associated symptoms. The term “Havening” is derived from the word “haven,” suggesting a safe and nurturing environment.
The key principle behind Havening Techniques is that traumatic or distressing memories are stored in the brain and can continue to have a negative impact on an individual’s emotional and psychological well-being. These techniques aim to help individuals process and neutralize the emotional charge associated with such memories.
Hypno-CBT, short for Hypnotherapy with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), is an integrated therapeutic approach that combines elements of hypnotherapy and cognitive-behavioural therapy.

TFT, or Thought Field Therapy, is a therapeutic technique developed by Dr. Roger Callahan in the 1980s. Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a psychological and communication framework that was developed in the 1970s by Richard Bandler and John Grinder. It is based on the premise that there is a connection between neurological processes (neuro), language (linguistic), and behavioural patterns that have been learned through experience (programming). NLP is often used as a tool for personal development, communication enhancement, and therapeutic change.

It involves deliberately bringing one’s attention to the sensations, thoughts, and emotions occurring in the here and now, without trying to change or judge them. Pack of 3 Sessions
Sessions last up to 2 hours. The number of sessions will depend on the issue(s) you wish to resolve. For example – curing phobias requires 1 or 2 sessions whereas some addiction work may require up to 4 to 6.

Single Session
I charge £200 per session. Booking is done online. Two days before the session the you will be charged for the session. Where we deem appropriate and where we can, we are happy to provide flexible payment terms or a discount.

For a 15 minutes consultation there is no charge. For a 30 minutes consultation there is a £50 charge redeemable on the first session if a 3-sessions package is purchased.
To ensure effective scheduling and availability for all clients, the following cancellation policy is in place:
- Notification Requirement: If you need to cancel or reschedule your therapy session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer your slot to another client in need.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of the scheduled session.
- No-Shows: Clients who fail to show up for their scheduled session without prior notification will be charged the full rate of the session.
- Emergencies: We understand that emergencies happen. If you must cancel within 24 hours due to an emergency, please let us know as soon as possible. The cancellation fee may be waived at the discretion of your therapist.
- Repeated Cancellations or No-Shows: Clients who repeatedly cancel or miss appointments may be subject to review and potential discontinuation of services.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this policy to ensure that we can provide timely and efficient services to all clients.
All clients need to book the session online following any of the booking buttons on the website. Mobile phone is required to confirm individual identity and filter spam.
You will be asked to provide credit card details and store it so the system can charge your card just 2 days before the session.
As you therapist I am committed to maintaining the highest degree of confidentiality with respect to my clients’ information. The trust placed in me by my clients is essential to the therapeutic process, and I am dedicated to safeguarding their personal and sensitive information. - Confidentiality of Therapy Sessions: All information disclosed within sessions, including written records and electronic data, is confidential and may not be revealed to anyone without your written consent, except where disclosure is required by law.
- Legal Exceptions to Confidentiality: There are several legal exceptions to confidentiality, including but not limited to:
- Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse. The therapist is required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
- If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person. The therapist is required to notify the police and inform the intended victim.
- If a client intends to harm themselves. The therapist will make every effort to work with the individual to ensure their safety. However, if an individual does not cooperate, additional measures may need to be taken.
