My path to becoming a therapist and coach was inspired by my own experiences and the profound belief that everyone deserves a chance to live a fulfilled and balanced life. After earning my qualification as a NLP Practitioner and Life Coach, I specialized in Trauma Recovery and Mindfulness and have since spent over 10 years helping clients navigate life’s challenges. This journey has not only been a professional pursuit but a personal commitment to understanding the depths of human experience. Currently planning to continue my development by this time as PhD student in Grof Studies (Transpersonal Psychology PhD).

Qualifications

Havening Techniques®

As Havening Techniques® Practitioner and Trainer I am specialised in delivering and teaching the Havening Techniques®, a novel approach in the field of mental health designed to help individuals overcome problems related to trauma, anxiety, and stress. Developed from the latest neuroscience research, Havening Techniques® involve therapeutic touch, distraction tasks, and visualization to alter thought patterns that are causing emotional distress.

As a practitioner, I work directly with clients to apply these techniques, aiming to reduce the emotional impact of past events and promote healing and resilience. The approach is grounded in the understanding of how trauma can be encoded in the brain and body, and uses sensory input to effectively ‘de-link’ the emotional charge from memories or triggers.

As a trainer, I am responsible for educating others, typically healthcare professionals or therapists, in applying these techniques effectively. This involves teaching the theoretical underpinnings of Havening, demonstrating the methods, and guiding trainees through the process to ensure they can apply it safely and effectively in their own practice.

Overall, as Havening Techniques® Practitioner and Trainer I am dedicated to fostering emotional healing and empowerment, providing both direct therapeutic support and education to spread these innovative methods to a wider audience.

Hypno-CBT®

Hypno-CBT® is based on Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH), which is an integrative therapeutic approach that combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with hypnosis and hypnotherapy techniques. This approach is grounded in the principle that thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are interconnected, and that changing negative thought patterns and beliefs can lead to changes in feelings and behaviours.

Hypno-CBT® uses hypnosis to reinforce cognitive and behavioural changes, making it a powerful tool in treating a wide range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, phobias, and certain habits or compulsive behaviours. The hypnotherapy component helps to induce a relaxed state of focused attention, in which clients are more open to suggestions and learning, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of cognitive and behavioural interventions.

In practice, a Hypno-CBT® therapist will work with clients to identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and beliefs, develop new coping strategies, and use hypnosis to deepen and reinforce these new cognitive and behavioural patterns. The goal is to help clients achieve greater mental clarity, emotional stability, and behavioural control, leading to improved overall well-being.

Hypno-CBT® is evidence-based and has been found to be an effective form of therapy for various conditions, blending the structured, goal-oriented nature of CBT with the transformative potential of hypnotherapy.

Trauma & Life Coach

As an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Trauma and Life Coach I a professional who specialises in assisting individuals to overcome past trauma and navigate life challenges using techniques based on NLP principles. NLP is an approach to communication, personal development, and psychotherapy that focuses on the connection between neurological processes, language, and behavioural patterns learned through experience. It advocates the idea that changing how we think and communicate can influence our behaviours and outcomes.

As NLP Trauma and Life Coach I combine these NLP techniques with trauma-informed care principles to help clients process and move past traumatic experiences. I work on identifying and altering the unconscious patterns and negative beliefs that stem from past trauma, enabling individuals to reframe their experiences and adopt new, healthier thought processes and behaviours.

In in this role as a life coach, I also support clients in setting and achieving personal and professional goals, improving relationships, and enhancing overall well-being. I employ a range of NLP strategies such as modelling, anchoring, and reframing to help clients break free from limiting beliefs, develop positive habits, and build resilience.

This type of coaching is holistic and tailored to the individual, aimed at fostering a sense of empowerment, self-awareness, and positive change, enabling clients to lead more fulfilled lives.

Time Line Therapy®

As a Time Line Therapy® Practitioner I am trained to follow a therapeutic process that is based on the concept that our unconscious mind organizes memories in a linear manner, somewhat like a timeline. This approach is often integrated with principles from hypnotherapy and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming).

Time Line Therapy® techniques are designed to help individuals effectively release the negative effects of past experiences and unresolved emotions such as anger, sadness, fear, hurt, and guilt. It’s particularly focused on how these past experiences and emotions shape and influence one’s current behaviour and emotional state.

As a Practitioner, I guide clients through processes to revisit and reframe their personal timeline of memories, allowing them to detach negative emotions from past events, learn from those experiences, and move forward without the emotional baggage. This method is often used for personal growth, overcoming limiting beliefs, resolving internal conflicts, and setting and achieving future goals.

Time Line Therapy® is commonly utilized in personal development, therapy, and coaching settings to promote healing, improve emotional well-being, and help individuals create positive changes in their lives.

Holistic Therapies

As a Mental and Energy Healer practitioner I combine techniques aimed at healing the mind and the body’s energy systems. They believe that mental, emotional, and physical health are interconnected, often using a holistic approach to treat various issues. I utilise a variety of modalities such as Reiki, Pranic Healing, Meditation, Chakra Cleaning and Rebalancing,  and other energy work techniques to help clear, balance, and restore the body’s natural energy flows.

The mental aspect of the healing often involves counselling, mindfulness practices,  or other therapeutic techniques designed to address mental blocks, stress, anxiety, and emotional traumas that may be affecting the individual’s well-being.

As a Mental and Energy Healer I work towards not only alleviating symptoms but also identifying and treating root causes of discomfort and disease, aiming to restore balance and harmony within the individual’s entire being. I cater to clients seeking alternative or complementary ways to traditional medicine, focusing on empowering individuals to achieve higher states of wellness and self-awareness.

Emotional Freedom Technique

An EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and TFT (Thought Field Therapy) Practitioner is a professional skilled in two closely related forms of energy psychology. Both techniques are often used to provide relief from emotional distress, psychological issues, and physical pain.

EFT, often referred to as tapping, involves the practitioner instructing clients to tap on specific meridian points on the body while focusing on a particular issue or emotion. This process is designed to balance the energy system and reduce negative emotions or physical sensations.

TFT is a precursor to EFT and involves tapping on a sequence of meridian points in a specific order, called an algorithm, which is determined by the practitioner based on the client’s emotional issue. The process aims to eliminate the root of negative emotions.

Both practices are grounded in the belief that imbalances in the body’s energy system can lead to emotional and physical health issues. As a EFT and TFT practitioner I combine these techniques to help clients release these blockages, leading to potential improvements in emotional well-being, reduction in stress and anxiety, alleviation of pain, and overall enhancement of life quality. I work with clients to address a variety of issues, from phobias and trauma to stress and chronic pain, providing a holistic approach to healing.

Mindfulness & Meditation

As a Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher I am a professional dedicated to instructing individuals in the practices of mindfulness and meditation. Mindfulness is the psychological process of bringing one’s attention to experiences occurring in the present moment, which can be developed through the practice of meditation and other training.

As a teacher teacher I guide students through various forms of meditation techniques, such as focused attention, breathing exercises, and body scans, aiming to help individuals become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, body sensations, and surrounding environment. The goal is to cultivate a state of active, open attention on the present, reduce stress, enhance concentration, and promote emotional well-being.

I work with individuals or groups, offering sessions that can vary from introductory courses to more advanced practices. They may work in diverse settings, including wellness centres, schools, corporations, or private practice. By teaching mindfulness and meditation, they empower individuals to observe their thoughts and feelings without judgment, leading to greater peace of mind, improved mental health, and a deeper understanding of oneself and others.

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing

An EMDR Practitioner is a trained therapist who specializes in EMDR therapy, an interactive psychotherapy technique used to relieve psychological stress. It is an effective treatment for trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). During EMDR therapy sessions, I guide the client in recalling distressing images while simultaneously directing the client to perform bilateral stimulation, typically through side-to-side eye movements, but also through auditory tones or physical taps.

The core of EMDR therapy is to process these distressing memories, reducing their lingering effects and allowing clients to develop more adaptive coping mechanisms. The therapy is based on the premise that the mind can heal from psychological trauma much as the body recovers from physical trauma if given the proper conditions.

EMDR practitioners are typically licensed mental health professionals who have undergone specific training in EMDR techniques. I apply this approach to help individuals process and overcome trauma and other adverse life experiences, aiming to alleviate emotional distress, reformulate negative beliefs, and reduce physiological arousal associated with traumatic memories. EMDR therapy is recognised as an effective form of treatment by several mental health organizations, and the World Health Organization.

I am a certified master practitioner of TLT – Time Line Therapy, a Clinical Hypnotherapist (Hypno-CBT), a Havening Techniques practitioner and International Trainer, with years of experience in life coaching, mental well-being, self-development, and mindfulness teaching. I am passionate about helping people overcome complex traumas, PTSD, depression, anxiety, phobias, and fears, and empowering them to achieve their personal and professional goals.

As a therapist, I help clients to emotionally disconnect from negative past experiences and heal from verbal, mental, and physical abuse. As a life coach, I support my clients’ development by removing self-limiting beliefs, and working with them on their future goals and outcomes. I also provide mental health consulting and mindfulness teaching to individuals and organizations. I am committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based, and compassionate services that enhance the well-being and happiness of my clients.
